The light installation “Puls der Stadt” illuminates the pulse of Frankfurt, fed by data sources from all over the city: e.g., airport traffic, weather data or stock exchange transactions. Thus people watching the interactive installation can feel the city life from quite a different point of view.

„Puls der Stadt“ was part of Luminale 2010, Frankfurt am Main.
It containes:
8704 LEDs
39304 soldering points
770 metres of brass rods
560 metres of cable
19 microcontrollers
620 metres of wire
